Pascual

The latest restaurant from chefs Matt Conroy and Isabel Coss, Pascual is one of the hottest tickets in DC for Mexican food. The focus is on hearth cooking in the development of beautiful flavors, draws on the Aztecs’ use of wood ashes as an essential ingredient in cooking corn and making masa for tortillas. I photographed the pre-opening photos for the restaurant as well as for the Washington Post’s rave dining review by Tom Sietsema.
