Chefs for Equality

Chefs for Equality is an annual party, bringing together over 150 of the DC region’s top chefs, pastry chefs and mixologists for an evening of food, cocktails and music to benefit the fight for full LGBTQ+ equality. The evening is a major fundraiser for the Human Rights Campaign and has been held over the years in various venues in the city, including the two included here-the National Building Museum and the National Cathedral. I’ve photographed the past two events for event chairman David Hagedorn, documenting the entire event from the gorgeous and exclusive chef’s tables, chefs at work, speeches and guests enjoying the food and atmosphere.
