Belle Haven Country Club wedding Alexandria, Virginia

Katherine and Trey could not have picked a more glorious fall day for their classic 10/10 wedding. We gathered at Katherine’s parents lovely home in Alexandria near the Potomac River for photos before the ceremony. The bride made such a dramatic entrance down the sweeping staircase to see her groom for the first time. A second story porch, a weeping willow tree and just a slight hint of fall foliage all made for such wonderful pictures. Did I mention Katherine’s dad’s red Corvette?! What a great getaway car! Next stop was the church for their ceremony conducted by a childhood friend of Trey’s. You can tell by the ceremony photos that there were lots of personal stories in the mix. The reception was held at the Belle Haven Country Club where we were able to make a few fun photos on the golf course before the couple joined their guests on the back patio of the club for a chilly cocktail reception. Elegant custom cocktails, funny toasts and their cake cutting with a sword and a packed dance floor were some the reception highlights.
